Birmingham hotel takes US rapper's complaint 'seriously' after she lambasts 'dust' and bottles
A New York rapper has criticised the Birmingham hotel she stayed in during her time performing in the city last week. Azealia Banks has hit out against Hotel du Vin on Church Street, telling followers on X that the hotel was 'giving dust on the headboards' and that it had 'refilled Voss water bottles from the tap'.
The performer told more than 100,000 followers: "It was giving jail break the handsoap teas." Azealia had a gig at the O2 Institute on Friday, September 20 and also criticised the 'putrid' smelling fish market at the Bull Ring.
When asked by followers whether she was staying near the markets, Azealia confirmed: "Lol I Googled what the best hotel in Birmingham was and it said Hotel du Vin."
