Birmingham hour-by-hour weekend weather forecast after city battered by rain
People in Birmingham could get some relief from the rain this weekend. Sunny intervals will turn to cloud on Saturday but the showers will hold off until the middle of Sunday.
Temperatures are expected to remain consistent throughout the weekend - after days of the city being battered by showers. The Met Office said there would be highs of about 14C and lows of 8C.
The forecaster added its headline finding was sunshine on Saturday. But it warned conditions would turn wet and windy through Sunday.

The full Saturday forecast for the West Midlands read: "A chilly but bright start to Saturday. Plenty of lengthy autumnal sunshine through the day and remaining dry with lighter winds. Temperatures remaining below the seasonal average but pleasant in the sun.
“Remaining dry through this evening with clear skies into the night. Light winds throughout and feeling chilly in the countryside.”
The full Sunday forecast added: “Fine start to the day with hazy sunshine. Turning increasingly wet and windy from the west during the afternoon, persisting into the night.”
And the full outlook for Monday to Wednesday read: “Rain clearing to leave a few bright spells and showers on Monday. Drier on Tuesday and Wednesday with sunny spells and lighter winds. Temperatures returning closer to average.”
Meanwhile there remained a flood warning for the River Cole at Coleshill on Saturday. Five flood alerts remained in place for the West Midlands in total.
