Westlife singer Nicky Byrne has given fans an update after falling off the stage at the band's Glasgow concert.

The 44-year-old took to the Hydro's stage last night with his bandmates to perform their Wild Dreams tour to a sold-out crowd.

But as the group were stepping off the stage and waved goodbye to fans, Nicky appeared to trip and fall down the stairs.

The incident has since gone viral on TikTok, and Nicky later assured his fans that he was okay and thanked them for their concerns.

He also shared a photo of a huge bruise on his side, but insisted he was 'ok'.

He wrote on Instagram: "Hey all, thank you for your well wishes! So last night I did have a little accident on stage in Glasgow, where I didn't realise the mechanical stairs had opened behind me.

"A crazy moment which could have been a lot worse but I'm completely fine, a little bit battered and bruised but ok!

"I'll see y'all back up there tonight. The show must go on!"

The singer even made a joke about the mishap, saying that he was really flying without wings.
