LAWRENCE, Pa. (AP) _ Black Box Corp. (BBOX) on Friday reported fiscal second-quarter net income of $22.9 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

The Lawrence, Pennsylvania-based company said it had net income of $1.50 per share. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations and non-recurring gains, were 55 cents per share.

The communications equipment supplier posted revenue of $158.7 million in the period.

The company's shares closed at $1.07. A year ago, they were trading at $2.95.
