Award-winning theatre show Kynren - An Epic Tale of England will be marking a milestone birthday next year and celebrations are starting early with the launch of a cut-price ticket deal.

Organisers of the immersive experience in County Durham are preparing for its 2025 return with a special 10-year anniversary show which they say will be "our most spectacular yet" and, with tickets are already on sale, they have announced a limited-time Black Friday deal so that people can take advantage of special discounts. They are currently offering £10 off tickets for Kynren's opening performance on July 19, including VIP seats, while a 20% reduction applies to the ticket price for other nights of the run.

The outdoor show, which plays out on a 7.5-acre site in Bishop Auckland, will feature new attractions too. A full-size replica train will feature during the performance, which blasts through 2,000 years of English history, as next year marks another big milestone: the 200-year anniversary of the Stockton & Darlington Railway.

The pre-show attraction of the Viking Village will be back too, with battle sequences being staged to add to the night's drama. The opening July 19 show has been specially added to Kynren's run which then will continue on Saturdays until September 13.

This year's season saw record demand as Kynren, which is produced by 11Arches, continues to wow audiences with its huge 1,000-strong cast and crew - plus animals - bringing alive ambitious set pieces which feature dramatic moments in history and myth with characters such as Boudicca, King Arthur, Queen Elizabeth I and Shakespeare. The live action sequences include the First World War and Miners' Strike and alongside fighting and stunts are equally dramatic fireworks, flames, projections and water fountains.

Those interested in taking advantage of the £10 off all tickets discount for opening night on July 19 need to use the code CELEBRATION when booking online. To bag the 20% discount for any other show date, which applies to all tickets save for VIP options, use the code EB2025 online instead.

Bookings in both cases must be made by December 31 but organisers warn the Back Friday offers have limited availability. To book see here.
