Black Hawk Helicopter Drops Water on Camp Fire in Northern California

The official death toll from the Camp Fire in Butte County, northern California, rose to 63 on November 15, as the fire spread to more than 140,000 acres, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection.

The blaze started on November 8 and quickly swelled to become the deadliest fire in California’s history.

Authorities said on November 15 that the fire was 40 percent contained and that they expected full containment by November 30.
