Bloor Homes lodges latest plan for giant 1,100-home Staffordshire estate

Developer Bloor Homes has lodged plans to build 165 properties on a giant 1,100-home estate. The developer also wants to build a first school on the site, off Stafford Road, in Penkridge.

It is one of four planning applications relating to the proposed 1,100-home estate. A shop and a park are also included in the planned development.

Its planning application to South Staffordshire Council states: "The development of the site will collectively deliver a residential-led mixed-use development comprising up to 1,100 dwellings. Bloor Homes shares the council’s aspiration for the creation of a vibrant new neighbourhood for Penkridge that provides much-needed new sustainable homes along with essential community services that will meet the day-to-day needs of its residents. It will be a sustainable neighbourhood that is closely connected to the existing village."
