Bluey heading to Coventry with special appearance at Godiva Festival

Children are in for a treat as a much-loved CBeebies character will soon be heading to Coventry. Bluey will be joining in the fun at the Godiva Festival in July.

Kids will have the chance to see Bluey at the hugely anticipated event at War Memorial Park. She will also be joined by her younger sister Bingo.

Organisers say the kids' TV favourites will be greeting young fans on Sunday, July 7. Children will get the chance to meet Bluey and Bingo on the Family Field.

Godiva Festival will be back at War Memorial Park for three days of incredible live music from Friday, July 5 to Sunday, July 7. Crowds will be treated to a star-studded lineup for its 25th year, which includes Paloma Faith, Richard Ashcroft, Beverley Knight and Eurovision star Sam Ryder.

Thousands are set to descend on the city for the three-day event which promises to be 'bigger and better than ever before.' Organisers said there will be plenty on offer for young and old, with a range of stalls as well as thrilling fairground rides and mouthwatering food.

Families will also be able to enjoy Dr Ranjs Teddy Bear Hospital as well as SK Schlomos Beatbox for Kids. Councillor Abdul Salam Khan said he hopes that the event will be 'truly unforgettable.'

A spokesman for Godiva Festival said: “We have got a super exciting announcement that we know our younger fans will love! Joining us on Sunday, July 7 is Bluey and her little sister, Bingo who will be with us on the Family Field meeting and greeting the crowd at intervals throughout the day.”
