Boat stolen from Loch Lomond marina in late-night robbery as cops launch probe

A boat has been stolen from Loch Lomond in the dead of night.

Police have launched a probe after the Whali 500 red rib boat was taken from the marina in Balloch at around 11.30pm on Thursday.

It's understood the vessel then sailed in the direction of the angling club at Rosshead.

The boat has a registration plate V4638/24 and locals have been urged to be on the look-out.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1330 of Friday, September 20.
