Bobcat Fire Flames Create 'Hades-Scape' Near Mount Wilson Observatory

The Bobcat Fire continued to threaten the Mount Wilson Observatory in Los Angeles County on Monday, September 21, according to local media.

ABC7 reported that shifting winds were “bringing flames from the Bobcat Fire dangerously close to Mount Wilson.”

The Mount Wilson Observatory said this timelapse footage shows flames illuminating the night on Monday. The observatory described the hellish inferno as a “Hades-scape.”
