The bodies of at least 16 people were recovered from the site of a plane crash on a mountainside in Nepal on May 30, authorities said.
A spokesman for the Nepal Army said a search and rescue team located the downed Tara Air plane in Thasang in the Mustang district, a day after it went missing with 22 people on board while flying from Pokhara to Jomsom.
A photograph released by the official shows parts of the plane scattered on a hillside, with its 9N-AET registration visible.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, the aircraft was found at an altitude of 14,500 feet. Credit: @NaSpokesperson via Storyful
