Body found in search for missing Glasgow man

A body has been found in the search for a missing Glasgow man who vanished more than two weeks ago.

Darren Pollock disappeared from Pollok area of the city on Thursday, August 29.

His distraught sister made a desperate appeal for help, describing his disappearance as 'absolutely horrific' for their family.

Police confirmed today that the body of a man was found on Coille-eughain Hill, Luss. at around 11.45am on Sunday, September 2024.

Formal identification has still to take place however the family of 42-year-old Darren has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
