Body found in search for missing Rotherham man

A body has been found in the search of a missing man from Rotherham, South Yorkshire Police have confirmed.

Officers believe that it is the 46-year-old who was called Paul, who was last seen at 1.15pm yesterday (Friday 15 November).

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "Officers searching for missing man Paul have today (16 November) sadly found a body.

"While formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe it to be that of Paul.

"His family has been informed and continue to be supported by officers at this time.

"Our thoughts are with Paul's loved ones at this difficult time.

"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal for information.
