Body of a woman found in Cambridge river with towpath closed
A woman's body was found in the River Cam on Monday morning (September 30). The death is not thought to be suspicious.
A passerby told CambridgeshireLive the towpath behind the Chisholm Trail bridge and Fen Ditton had been closed. They said police were at the scene at around 1.30pm.
A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: "Police received a call at about 8.40am today (30 September) with reports of a body in the River Cam, at Green End, Fen Ditton. The body of a woman has been recovered from the river.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for coroner."
