Body of woman found at Glasgow Hogganfield Loch as emergency services called to east end park

A woman's body has been found at Hogganfield Loch.

Emergency services rushed to the Glasgow beauty spot at around 3.45pm on Monday, February 3, where they discovered the 53-year-old.

There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, police have said.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 3.45pm on Monday, February 3, 2025, the body of a 53-year-old woman was discovered at Hogganfield Loch, Glasgow.

"There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We received a call at 3.49pm on February 3, 2025, to attend an incident at Hogganfield Loch in Hogganfield Park, Glasgow.

"Two ambulances and three special operations response teams (SORT) were dispatched to the scene."
