UPDATE: Northwest Gladewater boil water notice rescinded

UPDATE: A boil water notice for residents in northwest Gladewater near Hendricks Street was rescinded on Sunday, according to the city.

GLADEWATER, Texas (KETK) – The City of Gladewater has issued a boil water notice for northwest areas of Gladewater near Hendricks Street.

Rains County Justice of the Peace arrested for driving while intoxicated

The notice was issued because of a loss of distribution system pressure from contract work on water line valves that took place today.

Anyone in the area of Hendricks Street or anyone near there who lost water pressure today should bring their water to a vigorous rolling boil for at least two minutes before consumption.

The city said they would post an update once the water has been tested and the boil water notice is lifted.
