Bojan Miovski 'wanted' by Bologna as Aberdeen FC transfer resolve to be tested amid Southampton interest

Bojan Miovski could play Champions League football next season with Bologna joining the transfer chase for the Aberdeen star, according to a report.

The 24-year-old has been a major success story in the Granite City and despite the Dons finishing in the bottom six in a poor campaign by their own high standards, the hitman managed to bag 26 goals in all competitions including strikes in the Europa Conference League against HJK and Paok Salonika as well as strikes both home and away in the Europa League qualifying defeat to Hacken.

The Daily Mail report that the Serie A high-flyers have are in the running for a deal alongside Southampton - who are hoping for an immediate return to the English Premier League - in the race for the forward. The report states that the Aberdeen are looking for £6million payday from any sale. Bologna have enjoyed recent success stories in the Scottish market with Aaron Hickey and Lewis Ferguson.
