Boots sale 2019: When does the 70% off January sale begin?

With most of us feeling the post-Christmas pinch, January is the perfect month to try and bag a bargain.

Danish store Flying Tiger have already sent shoppers into a frenzy reducing all their products to just £2 and now retailer Boots are back with their annual 70% off sale.

When is the Boots sale?

As expected, Boots have remained tight-lipped about the start date of their 70 per cent off sale.

Judging from previous years, people were expecting the sale to fall on Friday 18^th January (last year’s sale started on Friday 20^th January), but this date has now passed and so far, no sale.

Who is Martin Lewis and what has he said about the Boots sale?

Money saving expert Martin Lewis also confirmed that previous reports speculating the date were wrong:

He tweeted: “Important I tipped off unconfirmed reports this morning on @GMB that Boots may be starting a clearance tomorrow reducing sale items from 50 per cent to 70 per cent. It has now confirmed this is NOT happening.”

Whilst we’re not sure what date the sale will start, we do know January is drawing to a close in a matter of days, so we can expect to see prices slashed any day now.

Which products will be discounted?

Although nothing has been confirmed, brands expected to be discounted include Soap and Glory, No7 and Champneys.
