Boozy espresso martini pancakes are coming to London

Last week, The Book Club announced they were unleashing a self-assessment tax party on the capital. Now they've said they are going to rustle up some very boozy espresso martini pancakes. Whatever next?

The beautiful thing comprises a full stack of fluffy American-style pancakes sandwiched together with intense Kahlua cream and topped with rich chocolate, espresso and vodka sauce. And of course, some extra Kahlua cream and three chocolate coffee beans to taste.

If sweet like your chocolate isn't your thing, go for the Okonomiyaki – a Japanese savoury beast crowned with crispy katsu chicken, bonito flakes, pickled ginger, seaweed, Japanese mayo and teriyaki ketchup. They've promised us it's pretty fantabulous.

And if you like your pancakes with a view, you can eat both varieties at sister gaff the Queen of Hoxton, too.
