Boris Johnson struggles with his umbrella again leaving Prince Charles laughing

The Prime Minister suffered another umbrella malfunction again on Wednesday - much to the amusement of Prince Charles.

Boris Johnson was seen battling to unfurl his umbrella in fierce winds while at a memorial service recognising the sacrifice of police officers who have died on duty.

Video footage captured the cheeky moment Prince Charles laughed at Mr Johnson’s failed efforts to open the umbrella.

Social media was awash with viewers sharing their amusement at the moment.

Among the sea of comments, fans wrote: “Boris Johnson struggling with the basics of life Episode 2,390 holding an umbrella.”

Others added: “A metaphor for his total surprise and grinning incompetence in any given situation.”

“Such a goof sometimes, its why you have to love him, normal bloke.”

“I recognise the seriousness of the event, but this was hilarious. This is something you would see in the comedy. His face was amazing. What was so good was to see everyone else around him laugh, even P. Charles!”

It comes a day after he was mocked for getting drenched even though he was holding an umbrella.

Mr Johnson had braved the rain to visit Surrey Police headquarters in Guildford on Tuesday to launch his new anti-crime policy.
