The borough that dominates Surrey's most expensive neighbourhoods as cheapest also ranked
It's no secret that Surrey is a pricey place to make a home purchase. Whether you're jumping on the property ladder, or are looking to move into the county for its conveniently close links to the city, it's all about location.
While many have a solid image of Surrey depicting fields, hills and quaint little villages, it's a very diverse place. Whether it's a bustling town you're after, or a remote hamlet, there is something for everyone.
A new report has now been released by Online Marketing Surgery and Cardinal Steels, ranking neighbourhoods in Surrey to find the most expensive and cheapest. The report is based on the average house price and total house sales the year ending March 2024.

The top 10 cheapest neighbourhoods are relatively evenly scattered across the county. However, as prices creep up and the top 10 most expensive appear, one borough in particular, Elmbridge, seems to dominate the list.
The area which includes the towns of Cobham and Thames Ditton is home to eight of Surrey's top ten most expensive neighbourhoods. The other two areas in the list are found in Waverley and Guildford.
Cheaper neighbourhoods can be found in areas like Woking, Guildford, Mole Valley, Reigate and Banstead, Surrey Heath and Runnymede.
