Bourne spin-off series Treadstone has finally landed a broadcaster outside the US.

The show is set before the movie franchise and explores the organisation that turned Jason Bourne into a super assassin.

And it's now been revealed that non-US fans will be able to find out more about Treadstone on Amazon Prime when it hits the site on January 10, 2020.

While that's a little while after its recent US debut, we'll take it.

Treadstone recently dropped a first-look teaser, which shows that the organisation has trained killers in the field all over the world.

Three of those assassins that are woken-up are J. Randolph Bentley (Jeremy Irvine), Doug McKenna (Brian J. Smith) and SoYun (Han Hyo-joo).

Showrunner Tim Kring has confirmed that "the events from Jason Bourne’s story are definitely present" in the new series.

"Although our series follows multiple storylines, each episode will vary in terms of how much time we spend with certain characters based on where we are at in telling our story. The characters we follow are not just Cicadas," he said.

"Others include a disgraced journalist working as a London taxi driver and an elderly couple living in the countryside of Russia.

"We follow our characters' personal journeys as they try to make sense of these events and eventual crossover between the stories becomes more and more likely as the season continues."

Treadstone airs on the USA Network.
