Antonio Conte has picked Nemanja Matic to start in midfield as Cesc Fabregas drops to the bench for Chelsea's visit to Bournemouth on Saturday, while Victor Moses returns to the starting XI.

With Chelsea seeking to restore their seven-point advantage at the top of the table after Tottenham's 4-0 win over Watford earlier in the day, Matic starts to add more cover in central midfield.

Fabregas - who celebrated the birth on his third child this week - is on the bench alongside the likes of Kurt Zouma, Willian and Michy Batshuayi, while Pedro starts in attack alongside Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

Striker Costa retains his place despite a recent goal drought, with Conte keeping his faith in the Spaniard to deliver the goals needed to fire the Blues to the title.

Wing-back Moses has recovered from a calf injury to start on the right flank, while the Blues will be wary as in-form Benik Afobe and Joshua King lead the line for Bournemouth.

Bournemouth starting XI: Smith, Francis, Cook, Daniels; Fraser, Arter, Wilshere, Pugh; King, Afobe
Subs: Allsop, Cargill, Ibe, Mousett, Gradel, B.Smith, L.Cook

Chelsea starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill (c); Moses, Kante, Matic, Alonso; Pedro, Diego Costa, Hazard
Subs: Begovic, Terry, Zouma, Chalobah, Fabregas, Willian, Batshuayi
