The bravest amongst the brave braved the cold this Sunday, taking the annual boxing day dip in the chill sea at Perranporth, Corwall. They hit the water on the morning of December 26 and very few are wearing wetsuits. Most of the happy crowd are heading into the surf as if it was a sunny day in August. The footage shows the swimmers walk or run into the water, some of them wearing Santa hats. After a quick dip they head back to the beach where hopefully they'll be greeted by a warm warm blanket and some hot tea.
