Boy, 11, missing for 16 hours after last sighting in Croydon as police issue urgent appeal
An 11-year-old boy went missing from South London yesterday evening (Thursday, August 29). Metropolitan Police issued an urgent appeal to the public to help find him. Harvey was last seen in Selsdon, Croydon, at around 9pm.
According to the police, he was wearing a black T-shirt with 'Nike' written in white on it. He was also wearing blue shorts and black trainers.
The police have also issued a photo of the young boy, who has curly brown hair.

South Area Croydon MPS has posted the appeal on X, formerly known as Twitter, saying: "#MISSING. Can you assist police in locating Harvey, 11yrs.
"Harvey was last seen in Selsdon, on the 29th August at 9pm. wearing Black Tshirt- white writing 'Nike', blue shorts, Black trainers. Any information please call 999 quoting 01/777224/24."
The appeal was posted at 1.07pm today, Friday August 30.
Another missing boy from London is Seth Lopes, 16, who was reported missing on Sunday, August 11 at 9pm and still has not been found. Detective Inspector Amin Kohzadbayat, from the Missing Persons Unit at Met Police, said: “I and Seth's family are very concerned for his welfare.
"He has been missing for over a week now and has not made any contact with his family. Seth is young, which makes him vulnerable and this is why I want to find him as soon as possible. Seth is described as a mixed race boy, with dark brown hair in mid-length braids, of a slim build and is 5ft 8in tall.
“If you have seen Seth, even if it was only briefly then please come forward to us, we need your help in order to find Seth and bring him back to his family.” Anyone with information is urged to contact police on 101 or post @MetCC on X quoting 01/708168/24.
