Boy, 12, among those charged after violent disorder in Merseyside
A 12-year-old boy was among those charged after violent disorder broke out in Merseyside. Detectives have charged four people and arrested three more as their enquiries continue after violent scenes broke out in Southport and Liverpool last month.
The four people charged include; Aras Magedi, 24, of Kensington, who has been charged with violent disorder in Liverpool and remanded in custody to appear at court on Thursday, September 26.
Cory Joseph, 20, of St Thomas More Drive, Birkdale, who has been charged with violent disorder in Southport and will appear at court today. A 12-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, from Anfield, who was charged with violent disorder in Walton and Burglary other, and will appear at youth court in October.

A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, from Runcorn who was charged with violent disorder in Liverpool and burglary, and will appear in court today. Three more people were also arrested, these included a 40-year-old man from Bootle who was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Liverpool.
A 33-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Southport. Both have been taken to police stations for questioning. A 28-year-old man from Wigan was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Southport.
All three have been taken to police stations for questioning. The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 112, with 72 charged and 55 sentenced to a combined 116 years and 4 months.
