Boy, 14, assaulted outside Coventry school

Police have launched an investigation after a young boy was assaulted in Coventry. It happened next to Caludon Castle School.

Officers were called to Axholme Road at around 2.30pm on Thursday (September 26). A 14-year-old boy reported that he had been assaulted, West Midlands Police said.

Detectives are carrying out enquiries into the incident and urged those with information to get in touch with them by calling 101. Information can also be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We are investigating after a 14-year-old boy was assaulted on Axholme Road in Coventry at around 2.30pm on Thursday (September 26).

“We are carrying out further enquiries, and anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 and quoting log 2779 of September 26.”
