Boy, 15, charged with murder of Jordan Kukabu in Dagenham

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murdering an 18-year-old man who was found with stab wounds in Dagenham.

Wazabakana Elenda Jordan Kukabu (known as Jordan), from Romford, died at the scene despite efforts to save him.

Police said they were called at 11.47pm on 5 May to reports of men with machetes near Dagenham Heathway Underground Station.

A post-mortem found the victim died from a single stab wound to the chest.

The 15-year-old boy has also been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

He will appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on 11 May.

A second man, in his twenties, was also taken to hospital with a stab injury but is not in a life-threatening condition.

Three other males, 16, 17 and 20, were arrested on 9 May in Suffolk on suspicion of murder and violent disorder. They remain in custody.

A 27-year-old man, also arrested in Suffolk on suspicion of assisting an offender and violent disorder, has been released on bail.

A 20-year-old man previously arrested on suspicion of murder has been released with no further action.

However, he was also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder over another incident and has been released on bail for that offence.
