Watch Harry, Four, Steal The Show On BBC Breakfast By Running Amok In Studio

A young boy became an unlikely star this morning as he caused chaos on the set of BBC Breakfast.

Harry Maceachen was sat with his mother Clare, who was invited on the show to talk about her four-year-old son’s rare liver disorder.

She was speaking about his need for another transplant but the serious interview soon became something different altogether as Harry seemed to laugh every time he saw himself on screen.

And what a laugh it was - Harry, from Shrewsbury, giggled so loudly that presenters Louise Minchin and Bill Turnbull struggled to get their voices heard.

His cheeky hijack didn’t end there either as Harry got up and started running around the sofas, still laughing while his mum tried to carry on with the interview.

Speaking about Wales’ new law that means people have to opt out of organ donation rather than opt in, Ms Maceachen said: “If he hasn’t received his liver transplant he probably wouldn’t be here laughing away, enjoying himself.”

And enjoying himself he was - much to the amusement of viewers, who took to Twitter to praise the little boy for his infectious laugh.

BBC Breakfast acknowledged the chaotic interview themselves, tweeting: “The 4 year old has brightened up everyone’s morning!”
