Boy With Cerebral Palsy Receives Valentine's Surprise From Children's Charity

A 13-year-old boy with severe cerebral palsy received a Valentine’s Day surprise from a children’s charity in England.

This video — posted to the Facebook page “Adam Salt, living with Cerebral Palsy” on February 12 — shows Adam surrounded by red and pink Valentine’s Day balloons at his home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. The footage also shows Adam’s sister popping out of a cardboard box, eliciting a wide grin from Adam.

“Huge thanks to Strongbones Children’s Charitable Trust for Adams wonderful delivery,” Adam’s parents wrote on their son’s Facebook page.

Adam’s mother told Storyful that Adam has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy and epilepsy. “Even though he has many problems he is a very happy boy,” she said. Credit: Adam Salt, living with Cerebral Palsy via Storyful
