A young boy underestimated the depth of a pile of snow near his home in Clifton Park, New York on December 17, as he jumped head first and all but his boots disappeared.
Daniel Bruce recorded this video of his son, and his wife posted it to Twitter.
Bruce told Storyful he told his son to go have fun in the snow, but when he told him to jump, he decided to dive.
“He was fine when he got up and continued to play in the snow all day long,” Bruce said.
The snow was brought by a nor’easter as it moved along the East Coast on December 16-17. Nearby Albany International Airport officially reported 22.9" of snow, according to the National Weather Service. Credit: Daniel Bruce via Storyful
