The Boys fans, your day is about to get a whole lot better because the show's Twitter account has dropped a treat even sweeter than a glass of Homelander's beloved milk and Starlight's favourite Almond Joy bar combined.

The show has released a compilation of hilarious blooper clips from the filming of season 2 on Twitter and it's everything you never knew you needed to see today.

Clips featured in the 'F**k Ups' blooper reel include Homelander actor Antony Starr cracking up while attempting to deliver a serious speech to camera, Queen Maeve actress Dominique McElligott falling over a prop and Billy Butcher star Karl Urban trying to coax his character's pet dog over, only for the dog to run off to do his business.

We also get proof that despite the fact that a lot of the Amazon Prime Video show's characters hate each other, the actors are much tighter as Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko) tries to help Aya Cash (Stormfront) when she trips over some prop rubble – leading Cash to joke that the characters off-screen who Stormfront kills in that scene "can live".

Sadly it looks like actor Starr doesn't actually like milk quite as much as his character does, as he's seen struggling to down the stuff directly from the bottle several times.

And if you've ever wanted to see Karl Urban tell a leaf to "f**k off", then your wish has been granted.

Thankfully a third season of the hit show has already been commissioned and showrunner Eric Kripke has been dropping little hints about what we can expect from it.

He's already posted a photo of the script for the first episode of season 3, which will be called 'Payback' and is written by writer-producer Craig Rosenberg.

Revealing that filming is due to commence on the new season early in 2021, he announced: "You're Not F**king Ready".

We can expect most of the main cast to return – although Stormfront's fate isn't completely clear at this point – and it's also been confirmed that Supernatural star Jensen Ackles will be joining the cast as Soldier Boy, a former acquaintance of Stormfront's.

There's also likely to be an expanded role for Claudia Doumit's Congresswoman Victoria Neuman after that major twist in the season 2 finale.

The Boys seasons one and two are available to watch in full on Amazon Prime Video.
