Boyzone To Mark 25th Anniversary With A TV Documentary?
Boyzone are still contemplating how to mark their 25th anniversary, with ideas of a TV documentary now being added to rumours of a reunion.
Can’t we just organise some sort of year-long party to mark the occasion? We’ll bring the party hats, you bring the sausage rolls.
According to reports, Ronan Keating wants to mark the special anniversary with a documentary and a big Wembley Stadium party, which would celebrate the years of boybands.
At the centre would reportedly be a ‘warts and all’ programme, which would follow their journey from the beginning.
A source told the Daily Star: “The lads have the potential to deliver a fascinating documentary about their rise, success, world tours, Stephen’s death, comebacks and staying together. The template was set by Take That, who did a similar show in 2005 before reforming.”
They added: “For Ronan there is no other option, the 25th will be a huge deal and may be the last major milestone for them to celebrate in style.”

It’s thought that Ronan also wants to bring other boyband members together for a gig with a festival feel, with Busted, Westlife, A1 and Damage all in the mix.
The source claimed: “He’s getting the boys onside to keep 2018 free for a series of projects, the biggest being to headline Wembley. It would be a celebration of all the boybands.”
