Brad Pitt is finding humour in the hype surrounding his most recent acting wins and is continuing to make light of his own dating history.

Earlier this month, the 56-year-old actor took home the award for Best Supporting Actor in a motion picture for his role in the film Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood at the 2020 Golden Globes and joked about his love life being a hot topic in the media.

‘I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn’t because, any woman I stand next to, they say I’m dating… and it would just be awkward,’ the star told the ceremony’s attendees, including ex wife Jennifer Aniston, in his acceptance speech.

As he accepted his award for Best Actor in the same film during Sunday night’s 2020 SAG Awards, Pitt told the audience: ‘I got to add this to my Tinder profile.’

He also admitted that the role of Cliff Booth – a has-been stunt double – didn’t required much acting from the star.

‘Let's be honest, it was a difficult part,’ he joked of his character during his acceptance speech. ‘A guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch.’

In recent months, the father-of-six has been open about his struggles with alcoholism following his split from ex wife Angelina Jolie in 2016.

During his speech, Aniston was seen smiling and clapping and later embracing the actor, suggesting the pair are on good terms following their five year marriage which ended in 2005.

‘This means so much, more than I can possibly phantom,’ he continued. ‘I want you to know I watch everything. I watch you all, and the work has been mesmerising.

‘Listen, I love our community so much,’ he continued, adding that everyone in the room has known pain and loneliness which they are able to bring to the big screen.

‘We have all had a laugh at our ridiculousness. We know funny, and we bring that to the screen,’ he joked.

‘And God damn I think that is a worthy endeavour! I have been banging away at this thing for 30 years...Thank you for this. My love and respect. Enjoy the evening, because tomorrow it is back to work.’

After walking off the stage at the SAG Awards, Pitt was seen watching a screen which showed Aniston picking up a SAG award for her role in Apple TV+'s The Morning Show. ‘Wow,’ he said in footage of his reaction to seeing his ex wife’s big win.

Following Pitt's Golden Globes win earlier this month, fans noticed that Aniston 'liked' an Instagram photograph of the actor taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski.

We're loving these award ceremony reunions between Aniston and Pitt.
