Bradford man, 53, missing for two days thought to have travelled to Morecambe

A man who has now been missing for two days is thought to have travelled to Morecambe.

Gary Metcalfe, 53, went missing from his home in Bradford on Monday (November 18). West Yorkshire Police are continuing to appeal for information about his whereabouts.

It is believed she got on a train to Morecambe, with officers from Lancashire Police now assisting with enquiries. Gary is described as a white male, 5ft 10ins tall, with thinning fair ginger hair.

Officers say he is 'usually clean shaven but may have grown a short beard'. They are now 'increasingly concerned' about his welfare and anyone with information is being urged to contact police.

In a statement on the West Yorkshire Police Facebook page shared by Morecambe Area Police, a spokesperson said: "Police in Bradford are appealing for information to help locate Gary Metcalfe who has been reported missing. Gary, aged 53, was reported missing shortly after 6:10pm on Monday (18/11) and is thought to have travelled to the Morecambe area of Lancashire.

"He is described as a white male, 5ft 10ins tall, with thinning fair ginger hair. He is usually clean shaven but may have grown a short beard. Officers are increasingly concerned about Gary and ask that anyone who thinks they have seen him or knows of his whereabouts to contact West Yorkshire Police by calling 101 or go online at https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/LiveChat quoting reference at 1392 of 18/11."
