Just when you thought all the game show ideas had been covered, Bradley Walsh has come up with a brand new concept - and it doesn’t exactly sound like a walk in the park.
Well, you can’t make these shows too easy, right?
According to the Daily Star, ‘Cash Trapped’, which Bradley created himself, will see six contestants battling it out to lock each other out of the competition.
Each contestant will have to beat their head-to-head opponent to the buzzer during a fast question round, which, if they succeed, will trap their competitor out of the game.
In the final round, whoever has the most cash will have to compete against the others to take the money home, with no-one leaving until a winner is found.
Explaining more about the rules, ITV have said: “If a contestant succeeds, they escape with all the cash they’ve built up, while their five opponents leave empty handed.
“However if they fail to escape their bank is drained and everyone else rolls their winnings over. Then they all remain ‘Cash Trapped’ until the next episode.”
Bradley has also revealed that he originally came up with the idea for the show ten years ago whilst filming a drama, explaining: “I took the idea to Helen Warner last year and she hooked me up with my old pal Glenn Hugill who helped me knock it into shape.
“I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!”
