Bradley Walsh, aka the presenter of The Chase, aka the man with the biggest debut album of 2016, aka the man more successful than Zayn Malik in the album selling stakes.

Well considering the fact he stacked up 111,650 sales, it's only a matter of time before his inevitable second album. But it turns out that the former Coronation Street star is planning on changing up his classic jazz cover for something a bit more modern – namely grime.

Speaking to BBC News at the BRIT Awards (of course), the 56 year old said he's going to expand in the genre of the moment with some of his new celeb pals.

"I'm sitting on Sony Music's table tonight, so I'm going to find out if I get a second album there," said Bradley.

"Wiley just came over and gave me a big hug. And then Stormzy came up and put his arms around me and said, 'Great to see you, man. I love you'.

"So I'm now going to release a grime album. That is what I'm going to do."

Bradley was also spotted rubbing shoulders with British Breakthrough Act and Critics' Choice winner Rag N' Bone Man, so it seems he'll have his pick of the latest talent.

Chatting with Digital Spy at the Brits, the singer joked that he'd planned on rubbing his success in everyone's face at the glitzy ceremony.

He added: "I might even take my clothes off and run naked through the hall. Well, I'm in rock n' roll now."

Simon Cowell is thought to have enjoyed the fact Bradley's album Chasing Dreams had outsold the likes of Zayn Malik.

"I just laughed when I found out. I thought it was hysterical. I am probably the oldest new artist Sony has ever signed", explained Bradley.

He added: "[Zayn's former One Direction bandmate] Niall Horan was sending me messages, laughing his head off. And I got big congratulations from Simon Cowell. He thoroughly enjoyed it."
