Stormzy and Bradley Walsh strike up unlikely friendship at Brit Awards
Bradley Walsh and Stormzy shocked fans by saying that they were set to collaborate at the Brit Awards.
The Chase host, whose debut album outsold Zayn Malik’s last year, struck up an unlikely friendship with the British grime star during Wednesday night’s ceremony.
Walsh was being interviewed on the red carpet as Stormzy popped up behind him, calling him a ‘legend’.
“My mate Stormzy there,” Walsh told NME. “We hang together. Do a bit of grime. What else do we do, grunge? No, just grime. Definitely grime.

Glad to see the first person to congratulate Rag n Bone Man was Bradley Walsh. The Chase is Dave's favourite programme. pic.twitter.com/VZV336kWvv

Talking about a possible collaboration, he added: “Me and Stormzy. We’re gonna do an album. We’re gonna do an album of Nelson Riddle arrangements in grime form.
“It’s gonna be called ‘Griddle’. We’re looking forward to it, we’re gonna collaborate.”
Stormzy and Walsh later posed for a selfie together, which the Grime star proceeded to post on his Snapchat.
The chat show host surprised Brits viewers even more when he shared a hug with British Breakthrough Act winner Rag ‘n’ Bone Man.
As his name was called out at the ceremony, Walsh was one of the chosen few that got a big embrace from the rising star.
“Anyone else wake up still curious as to why Bradley Walsh was at Rag'n'Bone man's table last night #BRITs2017,” one person wrote on Tiwtter.
Walsh’s Chasing Dreams was the highest-selling British debut album of last year.
