Brand new dessert shop opens in West Lothian offering 'delicious sweet treats'

A brand new dessert shop has opened its doors in West Lothian.

Mastro Desserts, located at 15 Union Square in West Calder, welcomed customers on Wednesday, November 13.

After opening their first shop in Livingston, the West Calder venue is set to offer "more desserts and more delicious ice creams".

Open seven days a week until 10pm, Mastro Desserts specialises in cookies, soft-serve ice cream and coffee.

Announcing their exciting opening on Facebook, the owners said: "EXCITING NEWS. We are opening a second shop in West Calder in November.

"New shop, more desserts, and more delicious ice creams to satisfy your sweet tooth.

"We can't wait for you to discover our new shop. Follow us for more updates about the opening."

A statement on their website reads: "There’s no better way to bring people together than with desserts! Mastro is a dessert shop specialising in massive cookies, soft-serve ice cream and coffee.

"Inspired by the sweet things we have enjoyed on trips to Livingston and West Calder, our menu puts a French twist on American classics without holding back on the butter and sugar. Everything is baked, blended and brewed daily, at Mastro.
