It is one of the biggest shopping days of the year as retailers slash their prices ahead of Christmas.

Black Friday is your chance to purchase the latest tech gadgets, fashion and beauty must-haves or home essentials at a discounted prices. Despite not taking place until November 29, many businesses have already started slashing their prices. Thousands of bargains are up for grabs.

The UK is expected to splash out a staggering £7.1bn on Black Friday, soaring from last year’s £5.2bn. If you're one of the millions trying to find bargains in the Black Friday sales, you'll know that it can be overwhelming with virtually every retailer dropping prices and boasting the "best deals ever".

We have been keeping bargain hunters up to date with all the latest deals in the run up to the main event. Amazon launched its Black Friday Week sale on Friday, while Dunelm is currently offering reductions on some of its homeware bestsellers.

Beauty lovers can pick up some bargains at Boots with reductions on designer perfumes, premium brands and gift sets, while shoppers on the hunt for winter warmer deals can also visit Oodie's Black Friday sale.

Here we have a round-up some of the best deals so far.

Boots: £40 off Gucci women's perfume

Boots has reduced the price of a Gucci perfume that is proving a hit with many shoppers. The Gucci Bamboo for Her Eau de Parfum 50ml is now down to £50 in a Black Friday deal. It was previously £90, which means customers can save £40.

A number of customers have said they love the scent. One wrote: "I’ve loved this perfume since I first tried it a few years ago and it’s still my go to." Not everyone was pleased though. One described it as having a "very poor performance" before adding it "doesn't last and doesn't smell of anything."

If you fancy giving it a try, the Gucci Bamboo for Her Eau de Parfum 50ml is available for £50 from Boots here. If you want to consider other retailers, the Perfume Shop is selling Gucci Bamboo Eau de Parfum 75ml for £66.99.

Dunelm: 20% off the Vivian Velvet Chair

This velvet cocktail chair has been described as "simply stunning" and "beyond gorgeous" by shoppers. And you can now get one for your home at a reduced price. Dunelm is offering 20% off the Vivian Velvet Chair for Black Friday, down from £129 to £103.20.

The retailer explains the chair has an "elegant shell back design" and velvet upholstery with gold metal legs. It is foam filled and has a webbed seat. Assembly is easy, you just have to attach the legs.

One happy shopper wrote: "Simply stunning. The pictures really don't do this chair justice. It is beyond gorgeous and at a really good price point." There were some criticisms, however. One customer wrote: "Nice quality and to look at but not particularly comfy."

Amazon: Playstation 5 reduced to £309 from £389.99

Gamers are in for a treat as Amazon offers a huge Black Friday discount on a PlayStation 5.

The retailer has reduced the price of this PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console (Disc Free) to £309, down 21% from £389.99. The Amazon website says that with this digital edition, players get "powerful gaming technology packed inside a sleek and compact console design".

The product description adds: "Keep your favourite games ready and waiting for you to jump in and play with 1TB of SSD storage built in. Maximise your play sessions with near instant load times for installed PS5 games."

Many customers have written good reviews about the console, with 84% giving it five stars. One said: "I bought the PS5 for my brother, and it’s been an incredible purchase. The graphics are stunning, with super smooth gameplay that truly enhances the gaming experience."

However, some shoppers noted issues with their purchase. One wrote: "The controller was not connecting to the ps5 no matter what I tried, I tried to reset the ps5 and the controller itself but nothing seemed to work."

Clinique: 50% off Fan Favourites Beauty Gift Set

Beauty lovers can snap up an enviable skincare and makeup collection from a premium brand for half the price this Black Friday.

The Clinique Fan Favourites Beauty Gift Set has been reduced from £100 down to £50 at Boots as well as at the likes of Marks & Spencer and Sephora, and includes four bestsellers from the brand that would make the perfect Christmas gift for any loved ones in need of a pamper - or a payday treat for yourself to see you through the stress of the festive season.

Also available elsewhere on the high street and online at John Lewis, Next and LookFantastic as well as on the Clinique website.

If you buy the collection at Marks & Spencer, it's also worth knowing that the retailer is currently offering shoppers the Clinique Glowing Skin Must-Haves Gift Set for £65 to anyone who spends £40 on Clinique products, including the Fan Favourites set. Meanwhile, elsewhere at Boots, fans of the brand can get the Merry Clinique Beauty Gift Set, which includes full-size versions of a bestselling moisturiser, cleansing balm, lip treatment and mascara, packaged in a keepsake Clinique tin. The contents of the gift set are worth a total of £116.50, according to Boots, but it's currently on offer for less than half that price at just £43.50, saving shoppers a whopping £7 - read more about it here.

Oodie: 50% off the Oodie Weighted Blanket

Whether you're on the hunt for Black Friday deals to treat yourself or stock up on Christmas gifts for loved ones, you can't go wrong with some winter warmers - and Oodie is offering 50% off absolutely everything for the occasion.

One of the favourites is the Oodie Weighted Blanket, which is available in plain blue for just £47.50 reduced from £95 in the November sale and has earned rave reviews from shoppers.

Also available in other designs including an Inside Out 2 Anxiety Weighted Blanket for £59.50 reduced from £119, featuring characters from the hit Disney film, as well as Barbie, Garfield and The Mandalorian styles for the same price, Oodie's weighted blankets come in three sizes and have received five-star ratings from the vast majority of shoppers.

It's worth noting that despite Oodie's half price offer, there are other weighted blankets available for less on the high street, with Dunelm offering a Calm and Cosy Weighted Blanket for £35 with an average rating of 4.8 out of five stars, while one of the bestselling choices at Debenhams is the OHS Waffle Fleece Soft Warm Weighted Blanket, which has been reduced from £54.99 down to £30.99 in the retailer's own Black Friday sale.

Liz Earle: 40% off site wide

British skincare brand Liz Earle has kicked off its Black Friday deals, offering 40% off across the site. Plus, we've discovered a way to stack deals to bag £155 worth of their popular products for free.

This comes as the retailer is gifting a freebie worth £86 to anyone who spends over £65. All you need to do is hit the minimum spend and pop in the code BLACKFRIDAY2 at checkout.

But hurry, this offer ends tonight (Thursday, November 28). The free gift, which pops into your basket after entering the promo code, is the Liz Earle 3-Piece Relaxing Collection.

Amazon: Whiskey deals with up to 47% off Jack Daniel's, Jameson and more

Amazon has slashed prices on alcohol in its Black Friday Week sale, perfect for stocking up ahead of festive party season - including dozens of deals on favourite whisky brands.

The biggest savings to be had are on Talisker Skye Single Malt Scotch Whisky, now £25.50 reduced from £48 with 47% off on Amazon - beating supermarket offers at the likes of Asda and Waitrose, where it has dropped in price to £28. Made on Scotland's Isle of Skye, Talisker promises a "lively interplay between sweetness, smoke and spice" with this whisky, which has an average rating of 4.7 out of five stars on Amazon based on more than 7,000 reviews.

When it comes to the UK's number one whisky favourite Jack Daniel's, shoppers can save 26% on the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey Gift Tin, now £26 reduced from £35, while Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Tennessee Whiskey is now £33.25 down from £47 - making it more than £13 cheaper than Tesco.

And there are bargains to be had on fellow bestselling brand Jameson too, with 36% off Jameson Black Barrel Blended Irish Whiskey presented in a gift box to put under the Christmas tree - it's now £24.70 instead of £38.70 on Amazon, beating even Sainsbury's Nectar Card offer price of £26. Meanwhile, Jameson Original Triple Distilled Blended Irish Whiskey has also been slashed in price from £34.90 down to £24.70.

Other big offers include the number one bestselling whisky on Amazon, which is The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky and can now be snapped up for £22.99 instead of £39.50 with 42% off, while The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve Single Malt Whisky has 43% off at £23.75 down from £41.50 - again beating the likes of Asda and Tesco by more than £14.

More favourite whisky brands to have seen their prices reduced for Black Friday include 30% off Johnnie Walker Gold Label Limited Edition, now £37 down from £53 on Amazon, and Southern Comfort Original, now £16.92 down from £28 with 40% off. And it's not just whisky that has dropped in price other highlights when it comes to Amazon alcohol deals include 30% off Absolut Original Swedish Vodka, 31% off Tanqueray No. Ten Gin, and 26% off Hotel Chocolat Velvetised Cream Espresso Martini.

Skechers: 30% off 'brilliant' boots

Skechers is offering shoppers the chance to save on hundreds of its bestselling boots and trainers with a special checkout code in an early Black Friday deal.

The Reggae Fest 2.0 New Yorker Chelsea Boots are among the bestselling choices being snapped up by fans of the favourite shoe brand. Available in black or brown in half as well as full sizes, Skechers promises "comfort with every stride" in these boots with their relaxed fit and memory foam insole.

The boots have a price tag of £70 - but there's a way for shoppers to get 30% off this and loads more selected pairs of shoes before the brand's Black Friday sale officially launches. Customers who sign up for a free Skechers account will be able to apply the code EARLY30 at the checkout to save on their purchase where eligible - meaning you can snag these bestselling boots for £49.

One happy customer wrote: "I love these boots. They look great, go with everything and are more comfortable than even my bedroom slippers!"

However, while 97% of shoppers overall said that they would recommend the boots to a friend, not everyone was as impressed by them. While a few described them as "great for wet weather", one person fed back: "I was very disappointed that they are not waterproof. I love the design and find them comfortable and warm, but disappointed that I cannot wear them in wet conditions."

Elsewhere Debenhams has also reduced thousands of pairs of boots, with the bestselling choices currently being the Emu Mini Classic Boots and the Finch Ultra Mini Classic Boots by EverAu Australia - both of which have 72% off, meaning shoppers can snap them up for £43.99 reduced from £159 with several colours to choose from.

And John Lewis has also joined in with its own line-up of Black Friday deals, including 20% off selected pairs of wellies from favourite brand Barbour. The bestselling pair are the Kingham Wellington Boots, now £48 down from £60, followed by the Clifton Wedge Wellington Ankle Boots in olive green, now £47.96 reduced from £54.95.

Wowcher: Holidays to Bali, Maldives and Disneyland now from £89

Amazon: 60% off Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones

If you're in the market for a new set of headphones, these might be worth a look.

The Beats Studio3 Wireless Over-Ear Headphones are on offer for £139.99 on Amazon, down 60% from £349.95 as part of a Black Friday Deal. More than 2,000 have been bought in the past month.

According to the product description, these are "high-performance wireless noise cancelling headphones" that are compatible with iOS and Android devices. They have up to 22 hours of battery life and enable "full-featured all-day wireless playback".

The website adds: "Apple's W1 chip and industry-leading Bluetooth technology keep you connected farther with fewer drop-outs. With fast Fuel, a 10-minute charge gives 3 hours of play when battery is low. Rechargeable lithium ion battery."

Shoppers have given the product an overall rating of 4.6 out of 5. The majority of customers, 79%, gave it five stars. One said: "Great pair of headphones. Pairing via Bluetooth was quick and easy. The headphones are comfortable to wear and offer excellent bass sound. The noise cancelling feature is impressive, particularly during a long-haul flight, where they effectively blocked out the aircraft noise."

Not everyone was satisfied with the purchase, with 5% giving it one star. One person described it as being "poor quality, not worth price", while another wrote: "I'm really disappointed with the sound quality of these headphones."

Amazon: 35% off Ninja air fryer

Amazon customers have been praising a Ninja air fryer that has now been reduced by 35% as part of a Black Friday Deal.

The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer has been described as a "great piece of equipment in any kitchen", while one shopper hailed it as a "superhero". The appliance is available for £149, down from £229.99 - that's a saving of 80.99.

According to the product description, the 9.5L fryer may help you save up to 65% on your energy bill. It has six cooking functions - max crisp, air fry, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate.

One shopper commented: "If kitchen appliances had a superhero league, the Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer would be the undisputed leader. This thing is so good, it practically has a cape hidden somewhere in its sleek design."

However, around 2% of customers gave it one star, with some people saying they were unhappy with the product. One described it as "slow as an oven" while another said it was "unusable after 12 months".
