Brazen thief swipes expensive perfumes from Redruth Superdrug
A brazen thief who stole expensive perfumes from a Superdrug in Cornwall is on the run. Police were called to the scene of a reported robbery at a store on Fore Street in Redruth yesterday afternoon, Monday, February 3.
At the time of the incident, CornwallLive was told by a witness that a person entered the store before taking perfumes from behind the counter. Around 4.50pm, a person entered the Superdrug store, went behind to the till area and took high value men’s fragrances. They then left the scene.
Police have carried out a number of enquiries and searches, but have not located the suspect. Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were called at around 4.50pm on Monday 3 February following reports of a robbery at Superdrug in Fore Street, Redruth. A suspect entered the till area of the store and stole high value men’s fragrances before leaving the scene. Despite numerous searches and checks, the suspect remains outstanding.
