BRASILIA (Reuters) - Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro said on Thursday he is not politicizing the armed forces, after he appointed his chief of staff as the new defense minister earlier this week, resulting in the heads of all military branches being replaced.

During a weekly live internet broadcast, Bolsonaro added that the military would not be used to enforce state and local COVID-19 lockdowns.
