Boris Johnson’s “do or die” pledge to deliver Brexit hangs in the balance as he fights to convince MPs to back his new deal with the EU.

The Prime Minister secured a fresh withdrawal agreement in Brussels yesterday, with European Commission president Jean-Claude Junker describing it as “fair and balanced".

But Mr Johnson's opponents aren’t convinced, and he now faces a knife-edge vote by MPs on whether his "great new" proposals will be approved.

His DUP colleagues have made clear they will not support the deal, and opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn called it “even worse than Theresa May’s, which was overwhelmingly rejected”.
