Parts of a bridge in the Caribbean port city of La Ceiba, Honduras, collapsed amid heavy rain after Hurricane Eta struck the region, local media reported on November 4.
Footage shared by the National Directorate of Roads and Transportation of Honduras shows Saopin bridge, which spans the Cangrejal River in La Ceiba, partially destroyed.
At least three people died in Nicaragua and Honduras in the hurricane, according to local media.
At least 165 people in the Caribbean and northern Honduras were evacuated as floods were reported in other cities including Yoro and Cortés, according to local news reports.
