Bridgerton heartthrob Regé-Jean Page will read a bedtime story on CBeebies on Mother's Day.

The actor, who plays the Duke of Hastings in the Netflix series, is set to read Rain Before Rainbows by Smriti Halls and David Litchfield on Sunday 14 March.

The story is about a girl and her companion fox who travel from a place of despair towards one of hope.

Singer-songwriter Rag‘n’Bone Man will read My Dad Used To Be So Cool by Keith Negley on Monday 15 March, with actor Jones delivering The Huffalots by Eve Coy the following day.

Meanwhile, Hardy is returning to read Somebody Swallowed Stanley by Sarah Roberts and Hannah Peck.

Page shot to international attention with his role in the raunchy period drama when its first season launched in December.

It's also earned him a nomination at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series category.

He made fun of his new found star status when hosting US comedy show Saturday Night Live last month. In his opener, he said while fans may associate him with his “smouldering, sensual” character he was “just a regular guy", before proceeding to smoulder down the camera.
