Brighton vs Chelsea prediction: How will Premier League fixture play out tonight?

A new-look Chelsea head to Brighton for their first game of the 2020/21 Premier League season.

Brighton appear to have a fully fit squad to choose from, with Graham Potter needing to decide between the likes of Lallana and Leandro Trossard, Veltman or Tariq Lamptey, as well as which system to use.

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is short of defensive options, with Ben Chilwell out, Thiago Silva not up to speed and Cesar Azpilicueta a doubt. Midfielder Mateo Kovacic is suspended, while Hakim Ziyech is injured and Christian Pulisic could also miss out.

Both teams are capable of good football, but there may require a period of adaptation for the Blues after a busy summer and the Seagulls tend to be more reserved against big teams.
