Brighton host Manchester United in the Premier League this afternoon as the visitors search for their first win of the top-flight campaign.

Brighton were beaten 3-1 by Chelsea on the opening weekend before defeating Newcastle 3-0 despite going down to 10 men.

Meanwhile, United began their season late, stepping out last weekend for their first Premier League match of the term and putting in a poor performance en route to a 3-1 defeat by Crystal Palace.

And while United did rebound this week in the Carabao Cup, beating Luton Town 3-0, they looked uninspired again until a late flourish. Brighton, meanwhile, saw off Preston 2-0 in the cup competition.

Here’s everything you need to know about today’s game:

When is it?

The match will kick-off at 12.30pm BST at the Amex Stadium in Brighton.

How can I watch it?

BT Sport subscribers can watch the game live on BT Sport 1 with coverage beginning at 11.30am.

Subscribers can also view the game on channels BT Sport Extra and BT Sport Ultimate, or stream it live on the BT Sport app and website.

What is the team news?

Axel Tuanzebe is close to a return to first-team training at United, and fellow centre-back Phil Jones is the only other player missing for the visitors.

Brighton will be without long-term absentees Jose Izquierdo, Florin Andone and Christian Walton, but otherwise have no injury concerns.

Predicted line-ups

Brighton: Ryan, White, Dunk, Webster, Lamptey, Bissouma, Alzate, March, Trossard, Connolly, Maupay

United: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford, Martial

Odds

Brighton: 15/4

United: 4/6

Draw: 3/1

Prediction

United have looked poor in their first two showings this term, but Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood getting on the scoresheet against Luton will have done their confidence some good – not that they’re usually lacking in that department. Brighton will be very much up for this fixture, however, having beaten Newcastle 3-0 last week even after losing a man. Brighton 1-2 United.
