The brilliant offer to those who face spending Christmas Day on their own in Nuneaton
Those who face spending Christmas Day alone in Nuneaton are being offered a place to go. Once again the Nuneaton Community Christmas Lunch Group team are hosting a free event on December 25.
It will give those who would otherwise spend the day on their own not only a place to go but also a free four-course Christmas lunch, entertainment, a small gift and a large dollop of 'Christmas cheer'. Transport can also be provided to get them to and from the Newtown Centre, where the lunch is held.
Run entirely by volunteers, the event is open to anyone aged over 16. But places are limited and have to be booked in advance.

People are being urged to apply now to ensure they get a seat at the Christmas table. Booking forms can be picked up from churches across the town as well as Food Bank collection points, P3 in Abbey Street, Nuneaton Library and also Citizens Advice (Brancab).
