Britain Celebrates Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th Birthday

Thousands-strong crowds gathered in Windsor today to catch a glimpse of Queen Elizabeth II on her 90th birthday. Britain’s first nonagenarian sovereign is meeting the crowds on a walkabout of Windsor. Yesterday The Queen officially opened a new Bandstand in Alexandra Park, Windsor, to honour her milestone birthday. The palace also released a series of new official photos of the royals to celebrate the occasion. In London, The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery performed a 41 Gun Royal Salute in tribute to her majesty.
