Britain’s Got Talent spoilers follow.

Britain's Got Talent saw the return of show legend Susan Boyle for last night's (June 4) grand finale.

The live show, which saw comedian Viggo Venn come out on top, welcomed the cast of the West End’s Les Misérables on stage - with the Scottish singer joining for a duet.

Joined by singer and X-Factor alumni Lucie Jones, Boyle sang 'I Dreamed A Dream', the song she famously sang in her original audition 14 years ago.

Following her performance, she revealed to hosts Ant and Dec that she was happy to back on the BGT stage after suffering from a minor stroke last year.

"It feels great," Boyle said, after receiving a standing ovation from the crowd.

"It’s extra special for me, last April I suffered a minor stroke and I fought to be back on stage and I have done it."

Judge Simon Cowell was also happy to see the singer back on the show once more. "I knew you weren't well but if anyone was going to come back, you were going to come back," he told her.

"It wouldn't be the same without you."

Elsewhere the show saw Viggo Venn beat dancer Lillianna Clifton and magician Cillian O'Connor to first place, securing the £250k cash prize and a spot at the Royal Variety Show later this year.

Comedian Tonikaku also secured a last minute place in the final after being selected as the judges' wildcard pick.

Britain's Got Talent airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
